Details are emerging of a brand new plug-in from Digital Element (purveyors of WorldBuilder, Aurora and Verdant) that enables you to bring 3D models into Photoshop. The soon-to-be-released Pro-Spec gives you the opportunity to import LightWave, 3ds max or Maya objects into Photoshop, and then rotate, scale and even add shadows before placing them into the image.
The plug-in offers a solution to those wanting to add 3D models quickly and easily to Photoshop, without rendering and compositing. It also enables those downloading 3D models from the Web, without a dedicated 3D app, to add 3D elements to Photoshop graphics.
Available late October, pricing for Pro-Spec is yet to be confirmed. More details soon.
